The Neely family is now in Serbia to complete their adoption of a precious special needs child. They would sure appreciate your prayers, if you are so moved – for them, their children, this process, and the foster family who has had Simon. Thank you!
It’s 9 PM here in Serbia and we are ready to get some sleep so this post will mostly be pictures (that’s the good part anyway, right?). Here’s what we were up to today!
After breakfast at the hotel, we took a walk through the city.
Aren’t you jealous that you don’t have a Sonic Internet Cafe a street away?
Niš is an interesting mix of new and old.
Then we went to visit with Simon at the foster mom’s home, and took a walk to his preschool to meet his teacher (and briefly play on their swing set!).
He loved to be pushed on the swings!
I see a lot of trips to the park in our future!
We were allowed to take Simon back to our hotel to spend the afternoon with just the three of us. We had our share of challenges, but we’re learning lots!
